VEDASPERA is operated and developed by OMNISPERA PRIVATE LIMITED. This policy explains what information may be processed, why it is used, how it is protected and how users or guardians can make privacy requests.

1. Introduction and scope

This policy applies to VEDASPERA's school-management platform, mobile and web experiences, public website and related support communications. OMNISPERA PRIVATE LIMITED provides and operates VEDASPERA. A participating school or institution also decides how information is entered, maintained and used for its educational and administrative activities.

2. School- and institution-managed accounts

VEDASPERA does not offer public or self-service account signup. Accounts are provisioned, managed or authorized by the relevant school or institution. Users sign in with credentials supplied or approved by that institution, and their access depends on their role and institutional relationships.

3. Information we may process

The information processed depends on the institution's use of VEDASPERA and the user's role. It may include:

  • Name, profile information, email address and phone number.
  • School or institution, class, batch, role and relationships.
  • Student-parent or guardian relationships.
  • Attendance, leave, academic results, assessments and performance information.
  • Timetables, assignments, announcements and school communications.
  • Uploaded documents, profile images and institution-provided records.
  • Device information, application version, IP address, login and security logs, and crash information.
  • Push-notification tokens and notification preferences.
  • Support requests and communications with VEDASPERA.

4. How information is used

  • Provide, maintain and improve the VEDASPERA service.
  • Authenticate users and apply role- and relationship-based access.
  • Support school operations, teaching, learning and communication.
  • Deliver service and security notifications.
  • Diagnose technical issues, prevent misuse and protect accounts.
  • Respond to support, privacy and account-deletion requests.
  • Meet contractual, institutional and legal obligations.

5. How information is shared

Information may be shared only as needed:

  • With the user's school or institution.
  • With authorized school personnel whose roles require access.
  • With verified technical service providers needed to host, secure, maintain or support the service, subject to appropriate obligations.
  • When required by law, regulation, court order or a valid government request, or to protect rights, safety and service integrity.

VEDASPERA does not sell personal data.

6. Children's and student privacy

VEDASPERA is provided through schools and institutions. Student accounts are provisioned or authorized by the institution, not created through public signup. Schools and institutions are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for their use of student information. Parents and guardians may contact the relevant institution or VEDASPERA about access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests.

7. Data security and retention

We use administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss or misuse. No system can guarantee absolute security. Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support the institution's legitimate operations, resolve disputes, maintain security and audit records, and meet legal or contractual requirements. Retention periods may vary by record type and institutional or legal obligations.

8. Account and data deletion

Users, parents or guardians, and institutions can request account and personal-data deletion. We verify the requester's identity and institutional relationship before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate institutional, security or legal reasons; eligible information will be deleted or anonymized as appropriate.

9. User and guardian rights

Subject to applicable law and the institution's responsibilities, users and guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or raise an objection or concern about its processing. Contact the school or institution first where it controls the relevant record, or contact us for help. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request.

10. Third-party services

VEDASPERA may rely on carefully selected providers for functions such as infrastructure hosting, communications, notifications, security, diagnostics and support. These providers may process only the information needed to perform their services and are expected to protect it. The public website may use analytics technologies when they are enabled by the website operator. We do not use this policy to claim providers or features that are not actually configured.

11. International processing

Depending on the infrastructure and service providers used by an institution or by VEDASPERA, information may be processed in locations outside the user's state or country. Where applicable, reasonable safeguards and contractual protections are used for such processing in accordance with applicable law.

12. Policy updates

We may update this policy as the service, legal requirements or our practices change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or the relevant institution.
